When the internet connection is lost, the app automatically switches to offline mode. In this mode, you can still update tickets, enter data, attach photos, and fill out forms. All changes are stored locally on the device and automatically synchronized with the platform once the connection is re-established.
Is data synchronization with the desktop platform real-time?
Yes. In online mode, every change made in the mobile app is reflected on the Cheetah platform in real time. An office manager can see that a field technician has updated a ticket on the desktop platform within seconds.
What permission and access restrictions apply to the mobile app?
The platform’s role-based access control (RBAC) is fully enforced within the mobile app. While a technician only sees their assigned tasks, a manager can monitor all team data. In case a mobile device is lost, remote log-out and data wipe options are available.
Can approvals be granted via mobile?
Yes. Pending approval requests arrive as notifications in the mobile app, allowing you to approve or reject them with a single tap. Multi-tier approval processes can also be managed via mobile—ensuring processes never stall, even while you are traveling.
